How to Change Your Discord Banner (Nitro & Basic)

Your PFP is the face, but your Banner is the vibe. It's that big splash image behind your profile when someone clicks on you. If you have Discord Nitro, leaving this blank is a crime!

Do I Need Nitro?

Yes, mostly.

• Nitro Basic ($2.99): Allows static images.
• Full Nitro ($9.99): Allows animated GIFs (the cool stuff).

The Perfect Size

Get this wrong and your banner looks pixelated or cropped weirdly.

Pro Tip: The bottom-left corner of your banner will be covered by your PFP (and status bubble). Don't put important text or faces there!

How to Set Your Banner

1. Go to User Settings > Profiles.
2. Click on the huge "Change Banner" button.
3. Upload your image.
4. Crucial Step: Look at the preview. Toggle between "Color" and "Image" to make sure it matches your profile theme color.

• The Quote: Use a minimal background with your favorite quote in the center-right.
